Alysia Griffin, Psy.D. is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Maryland. She has extensive clinical experience in psychological assessment and mental health treatment. Dr. Griffin specializes in psycho-diagnostic, neuropsychological, forensic, psycho-educational, and disability evaluations. In addition to psychological testing, Dr. Griffin is also a dedicated psychotherapist who specializes in individual and couples therapy for those with a range of mental health disorders. She utilizes an integrative treatment modality grounded in relational therapy that incorporates cognitive-behavioral, experiential, and other evidence-based techniques to develop a treatment plan that is unique to each individual patient. Dr. Griffin has a particular affinity for working with patients with chronic mental health disorders, such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, traumatic stress disorders, and personality disorders. She maintains a person-centered approach throughout treatment that is guided by the principles of unconditional positive regard, empathic listening, and genuineness throughout the therapeutic process.

Michael Wusik, PhD is a psychology associate with a specialty in acceptance and mindfulness-based therapy. Dr. Wusiks practice focuses on individual, couples, and family therapy, group therapy, psychological testing and therapeutic assessment. Dr. Wusik graduated from Virginia Tech with a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and completed an internship with the VA Maryland Healthcare System. Dr. Wusik has been formally trained in empirically supported treatments for PTSD, anxiety/panic related disorders, depression and mood disorders, chronic pain, life transitions and personality disorders. While not at MMH, Dr. Wusik is also an adjunct professor of psychology with Towson University, The University of Baltimore, and Loyola University and a research consultant with Virginia Techs Posttraumatic Stress Research Group.
Emma joined My Mental Health in June 2016 as Clinical Support. She has quickly grown into the Psychological Testing Coordinator in August 2016. Emma graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She came to MMH to gain experience in the mental health field before applying to graduate school.
